Summary

Gmail contextual gadgets, initially introduced during the launch of the Google Apps Marketplace, are now accessible to all developers as of May 18, 2010. Following a limited trusted tester period that generated significant interest, Google invited a select group of developers to participate in the program. With the API now available to all Google Apps Marketplace developers, interested parties are encouraged to review the documentation and the full announcement on the Google Enterprise Blog for more information on getting started. Additionally, a detailed session on Gmail contextual gadgets is available at Google I/O, led by Dan Holevoet from the Gmail contextual gadgets team.
