Easily connect Google Pay with your preferred payment processor

Integrating Google Pay with your website or Android application offers a secure and efficient checkout process for users, requiring a Payment Service Provider (PSP) to work with Google Pay APIs. To facilitate this integration, Google Pay has launched an open-source project providing end-to-end samples for various PSPs, including Adyen, Braintree, Checkout.com, Cybersource, Square, and Stripe, with the option to add more. These samples, written in JavaScript using Node.js, guide developers through the integration process from client-side configuration to server-side communication with PSPs, promoting best practices and a consistent interface. This initiative aims to streamline codebases and enhance flexibility, particularly beneficial for merchants who use multiple PSPs, as indicated by a study showing that 69% of merchants with over 50% online sales utilize more than one PSP. After testing, businesses can submit their Google Pay integration via the Google Pay Business Console to finalize and launch their payment solution, thereby improving conversion rates and customer purchasing experiences.
