Become a Google Developer Student Club lead
Blog post from Google Cloud
Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) are university-based groups that offer students opportunities to engage with Google technologies while building their programming skills and community impact. Open to undergraduate and graduate students in over 110 countries, these clubs focus on areas such as Machine Learning, Android app development, and Google Cloud. Students involved in GDSC participate in events, hackathons, and the GDSC Solution Challenge, with some creating impactful solutions like Ahsan Aman’s currency counterfeiting detection app in Pakistan. As a GDSC Lead, students receive mentorship from Google, enhance leadership skills by organizing clubs, and share knowledge with peers, ultimately contributing to real-world problem-solving. Applications for the 2023-2024 Leads are currently open, encouraging students to apply and make a difference in their communities.
