App pricing, update details, and Editor’s choice now available on Google Workspace Marketplace.
Blog post from Google Cloud
Google Workspace Marketplace has introduced new features for developers, including the ability to display app pricing and the last update date for their applications, enhancing transparency for Workspace administrators and end users. With more than 5,300 public apps and thousands of private apps available, the Marketplace has facilitated over 4.8 billion app installations since its inception, driving innovation among the 3 billion Google Workspace users. Developers can now choose from various pricing models—Free, Paid with a Free trial, Paid with free features, or Paid—through the Google Workspace Marketplace SDK. Additionally, a new "Editor's Choice" section features three curated categories: Work from Everywhere, Business Essentials, and Apps to Discover, aimed at enhancing productivity and innovation. Users are encouraged to stay informed about these updates through the developer newsletter and by participating in events like Next '21.
