Announcing the Google Forms API

Google announced the launch of the Google Forms API, currently available in Restricted Beta with plans for an Open Beta in Q4 2021. This API allows developers to automate form creation and editing, and to react to incoming responses, enabling the development of real-time dashboards, visualizations, and business workflows. The API supports functionality such as creating and updating forms, reading form metadata and responses, and receiving real-time updates through Cloud Pub/Sub notifications. Early adopters like Zapier and Zzish are integrating the API into their platforms, with Zapier enhancing its workflow automation capabilities and Zzish using it to facilitate personalized teaching in education. The API is expected to reach general availability in 2022, and Google is inviting developers to become early adopters to test and provide feedback on the API.
