Introducing Launchpad for GitKraken On-Premise: Start Your Day Informed
Blog post from GitKraken
GitKraken’s 10.8 release adds Launchpad to self-hosted On-Premise environments, providing a local activity hub for viewing and filtering assigned or mentioned issues and pull requests from connected providers such as GitHub Enterprise and GitLab Self-Managed without transmitting data outside the network. Unlike the cloud version, the on-premise Launchpad does not include Cloud Workspaces, saved views, snoozing, pinning, or Team Launchpad, although it retains activity filtering and remembers view preferences. The release also introduces limited Conflict Prevention for on-premise users, alerting them to conflicts between a local branch and its remote target branch but not detecting conflicts with teammates’ branches or supporting cloud-based patches and collaboration features. Additionally, multi-commit cherry-picking lets users select, reorder, squash, reword, drop, preview, and apply multiple commits across branches, supporting tasks such as backporting fixes and moving feature work more efficiently.
