GitKraken Desktop 11.10: From Top Requests to Today’s Release
Blog post from GitKraken
GitKraken Desktop 11.10 adds seven developer-requested features aimed at simplifying work in complex repositories without requiring command-line workflows. Users can pin important branches to the left of the commit graph, enable Smart Branch Visibility to focus on relevant branch relationships, and rebase a selected range of recent commits directly within the graph. The release also introduces a default squash-on-merge preference, the ability to restore individual files from any prior commit, and sparse checkout support for cloning or configuring only selected portions of large repositories and monorepos. A word-wrap toggle in the diff view improves readability for long lines in documentation, markup, and minified files, while the overall update emphasizes greater control over history, branches, and repository scale in a visual Git interface.
