Shine a spotlight on your open source project

May is celebrated as Maintainer Month, highlighting the contributions of individuals behind open source projects that support the internet. To mark this occasion, applications are open for two significant events where maintainers can showcase their work: the Open Source Spotlight at the WeAreDevelopers World Congress in Berlin from July 9-11, 2025, and the Open Source Zone at GitHub Universe in San Francisco from October 28-29, 2025. These events offer a platform for project maintainers to demonstrate their innovations, share their unique stories, and engage with a global audience of developers and industry leaders. Participants gain exposure to thousands of developers and decision-makers, with opportunities for live demos, networking, and visibility. Maintainer Month aims to celebrate and amplify the impact of developers, encouraging them to share their work with the broader community throughout the year.
