Protect your organization's repositories with new security settings

GitHub has introduced a new repository deletion setting for organization owners, allowing them to control who can delete repositories. This feature is available for all GitHub-hosted plans and is set to be included in the upcoming GitHub Enterprise release. By default, organization members with admin permissions can delete repositories, but if the setting is disabled, only organization owners have this capability. The next GitHub Enterprise release will also provide an appliance-level override, enabling only site administrators to delete repositories if the setting is turned off.
