Patchwork Night Boulder Edition
Blog post from GitHub
GitHub is hosting a Patchwork hack night at their new Boulder office to provide hands-on learning for beginners in Git and GitHub, with no coding experience required. This event, scheduled for Thursday, August 14th from 6:00-9:00pm, will offer participants the chance to gain confidence in contributing to the open-source community while enjoying snacks and building connections. Attendees will leave with a merged pull request and a boost to their contributions graph. The event will feature guidance from mentors, including GitHub staff and community experts, with @technoweenie as the speaker and @nathansobo, the creator of Atom.io, among the mentors. Participants are encouraged to RSVP as either attendees or mentors, with further instructions provided via email prior to the event.
