Patchwork Night

GitHub is hosting a Patchwork night at its headquarters on Thursday, March 27th, 2014, from 6 to 9 PM, aimed at beginners learning Git and GitHub. The event offers hands-on experience through which participants will have their first pull request on an open-source project merged, contributing to their GitHub contribution graph. Mentors, including experienced GitHub staff and previous workshop attendees, will be available to assist and answer questions. The evening will also include discussions on engaging with open-source projects and understanding workflows, and no prior coding experience is necessary to attend.
