Post-incident, GitHub is working on scaling improvements, including regional caching and enhanced authentication service measures. Later, from October 25 to 26, GitHub Copilot underwent multiple regional outages due to automated node upgrades affecting code completions, resolved by disabling the upgrade process and enhancing global load balancing.
