GitHub Training had an eventful week on Vancouver Island, culminating in a social gathering after a series of public talks hosted by the Courtenay Web Posse at North Island College. The final event, a casual meet-up, was scheduled for August 31st, 2012, from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Flying Canoe Pub in Courtenay, BC. Attendees were encouraged to RSVP and engage on Twitter with Matthew J. McCullough and the Courtenay Web Posse for further interaction and updates.
