Celebrate Local Hack Day with MLH and GitHub on December 1

Major League Hacking’s (MLH) 5th annual Local Hack Day, scheduled for December 1, is a global hackathon celebrating learning, building, and sharing, with over 200 locations worldwide. Participants, regardless of experience level, can join local tech communities to create projects ranging from websites to robots. The event also offers educational workshops and networking opportunities, with access to the GitHub Education Pack for developer tools and GitHub swag. GitHub, hosting the event for the third year, provides support through GitHub Campus Experts at some locations. The 2017 event attracted over 6,000 participants across 34 countries, and this year's event is expected to be even larger. Participants are encouraged to spread the word using the hashtag #LocalHackDay on social media platforms.
