Daniel began his career in the United States Marine Corps, specializing in information security and satellite intelligence before pursuing studies at Sciences Po and Ecole de Guerre Economique in Paris, where he developed an interest in cybersecurity. He worked at CybelAngel, focusing on digital risk protection and monitoring the dark web for data breaches, which introduced him to the world of hacking and data leaks. After that, he transitioned to a security consultant role at PwC, where he conducted corporate risk investigations but desired to focus more on business development. Daniel's passion for cybersecurity and business development led him to join GitGuardian, a Paris-based cybersecurity startup, after being impressed with their innovative solutions and unique approach to addressing secrets exposure. He values the freedom and independence in his work at GitGuardian, where he interacts with clients from diverse sectors and recognizes the underestimated scope of secrets sprawl in various industries. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys learning new languages and has lived in multiple countries to immerse himself in different cultures.
