EdgeDB 2.0

On July 28, 2022, EdgeDB announced the release of version 2.0. This update brings a range of new features including a built-in admin UI, a top-level GROUP statement in EdgeQL, object-level security, range types, and an official Rust client library. The EdgeDB team also highlighted its commitment to open source development and the use of Postgres under the hood.
