GatsbyConf is hosting a free half-day workshop titled "Getting Started with Gatsby," led by Gatsby Software Engineer Obinna Ekwuno and Senior Software Engineer Megan Sullivan. Sponsored by Contentstack, the workshop aims to introduce beginners to Gatsby by teaching core concepts such as querying data with GraphQL, handling a headless CMS, optimizing for accessibility, and leveraging Gatsby's extensive ecosystem of plugins and themes. The workshop is designed for individuals with some HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge, and it will cover creating pages, using plugins, and deploying a blog site using Gatsby. Participants will build a blog as an introductory project to learn various Gatsby functionalities. Additionally, GatsbyConf will feature other workshops, speakers, and special events like "Gamer vs. Gatsby," where a live Super Mario Bros speed run will be attempted alongside a live Gatsby site deployment.
