In a bid to support Facebook's rebranded global payment system, Diem, Dfuzr Industries utilized Gatsby and headless WordPress to create Diem.com, enhancing creative velocity and scalability. Initially built on a nascent tech stack for Libra in 2019, the site required modernization to accommodate global scalability and ease of content updates across nine languages. By leveraging Gatsby’s integration with WordPress VIP hosting and WPGraphQL, Dfuzr enabled a more flexible and efficient development process, allowing content editors to manage updates without code changes. The site serves as an entry point to various member and developer services, with a focus on reusability and expansion, including a member portal for communications among Diem Association's 30 partners. Additionally, Dfuzr collaborated with Gatsby engineers to ensure all plugins met stringent WordPress VIP standards, ultimately contributing to the open-source gatsby-source-wordpress repository. This collaboration allowed Dfuzr to incorporate Docusaurus, an open-source tool from Facebook, for Diem's developer portal, solidifying Gatsby's role in orchestrating the diverse data sources required for the project's evolution.
