GitHub Discussions has been introduced as a new platform for the Gatsby community to engage by asking questions, submitting ideas, and providing feedback on new features, aiming to improve the organization of issues beyond bug tracking. This interactive space is divided into categories for ideas, help, and requests for comments (RFC), encouraging community participation in enhancing Gatsby. While not intended as the ultimate community forum, it complements the existing Gatsby Discord server, which remains the main community hub and a place for informal interaction. Although GitHub Discussions facilitates structured community interaction, Gatsby is also working with Forem to develop a comprehensive community platform set for launch in early 2021.
