This capability allows customers to exchange data with other systems during authentication processes, addressing use cases such as combining account information from separate systems into the login process or querying additional user data from external directories. With Lambda HTTP Connect, developers can create customized login workflows in microservice environments, empowering them to build a fully data-enabled user experience. The feature is currently available for FusionAuth Essentials and Enterprise customers, and provides an important step forward in authentication beyond simple username and password-based systems.
