Frigade, a new developer platform aimed at improving product onboarding, is participating in Y Combinator's Winter 2023 cohort to address the often overlooked yet crucial process of onboarding in software products, which significantly affects customer activation and retention. Unlike existing no-code tools that are often rigid and not developer-friendly, Frigade offers a solution using native SDKs and an API that allows developers to create onboardings within the codebase, thus ensuring a more integrated and reliable experience. The platform enables users to install an SDK, choose UI components, and configure logic in an admin panel, while also providing real-time updates and progress tracking without the need for new code deployments. Frigade is currently working with web-based B2B companies and plans to release a self-serve flow to expand its user base, offering competitive pricing alongside other market solutions.
