AI Venture Factory, powered by HaiVE, hosted India's first AI No-Code Hackathon at St Joseph’s College of Engineering in Chennai, drawing over 500 participants nationwide, including a diverse range of demographics and a notable 14-year-old participant who won second prize. Sponsored by FlutterFlow, BuildShip, and HaiVE, the event aimed to democratize AI development through no-code tools, allowing participants access to platforms like FlutterFlow and BuildShip, as well as free server time on HaiVE’s H100 AI servers. The first prize was awarded to SentientMatters.com, a zero-employee AI-driven news startup that rebuilt its iOS app in just three days using FlutterFlow, a process that originally took two months. The hackathon emphasized practical, hands-on experience in building AI applications and was judged by industry experts, influencing educational curriculums like that of Anna University. AI Venture Factory plans to expand its initiatives, with future events aimed at incorporating no-code development into academic programs, highlighting the growing importance of such platforms in democratizing technology and empowering future developers in India.
