Building a Flutter Slide Puzzle With Minimal Code

Google's Flutter team has introduced the Flutter Puzzle Hack challenge, offering over $50,000 in prizes for participants who create a unique slide puzzle using Flutter, either from scratch or by customizing a sample project. While coding skills are not strictly necessary thanks to FlutterFlow, a low-code builder for mobile apps, participants will need to write minimal logic code for the puzzle. FlutterFlow, integrating with platforms like Firebase and GitHub, provides a visual builder for app interfaces and supports custom functions, actions, and widgets. To join the challenge, participants must create an account on FlutterFlow, build their project, and follow specific instructions to set up the puzzle's UI and logic, including defining state variables and custom actions. The completed puzzle can be tested and refined using FlutterFlow's features, such as adaptive layouts and dark mode support, before submission, which involves uploading the project to GitHub, recording a demonstration video, and hosting the app online. Participants are encouraged to share their projects on Twitter using the #FlutterPuzzleHack hashtag.
