Recently, Fleet Device Management, co-founded by former lead maintainers, secured a $5 million seed round from prominent investors to advance its mission of enhancing device management. Currently managing 1.65 million devices for companies like Uber and Dropbox, Fleet aims to foster collaboration between IT and security teams by improving transparency and trust through its open-source model. The platform is set to expand its features for vulnerability management and policy compliance, reinforcing its commitment to openness and collaboration in device management.
