Who's Getting Paged and When? See It Instantly with Alert Visualization
Blog post from FireHydrant
Alert Visualization is a new tool in Signals designed to provide clear previews of alert behaviors, eliminating guesswork in complex on-call setups. By simulating alert payloads, users can see how alerts flow through the system, identify which rules and escalation policies are triggered, and determine who gets notified and when. The tool features a time-travel function that adjusts routing based on future schedules, and a time scrubber for scrutinizing complex escalations to catch configuration issues early. This allows teams to prevent alert fatigue, avoid misrouted alerts, and ensure timely notifications, empowering them to confidently manage their alerting rules. Now available to all Signals customers, this feature aims to enhance troubleshooting efficiency by offering real-time visualizations of alert processes.
