What’s new in Firebase at I/O 2018

Firebase announced platform updates as its developer community reached 1.2 million active apps per month, reaffirming its focus on supporting app development, quality, and growth. The company introduced ML Kit in public beta for Android and iOS, offering on-device and cloud-based APIs for text recognition, face detection, barcode scanning, image labeling, and landmark recognition, along with support for custom TensorFlow Lite models.
