Udacity launches Firebase Essentials For Android course
Blog post from Firebase
Udacity has launched Firebase Essentials for Android, a free course for registered users developed in collaboration with Google’s Firebase team. The five-lesson program, estimated to require 40–50 hours, teaches Android developers to build a collaborative real-time shopping app while covering Firebase listeners, user authentication, data structuring, and security rules. Lessons include instructor videos, quizzes, and programming assignments; the first two were immediately available, the third was nearing completion, and the final two were planned for release in January.
