Summary

Firebase Analytics is rolling out StreamView and DebugView to provide faster insight into app activity for developers who previously might have waited hours for meaningful reporting outside of BigQuery. StreamView visualizes incoming events in real time, enabling teams to monitor feature releases, app-version adoption, engagement campaigns, geographic activity, user properties, event parameters, and filtered audience behavior, while its User Snapshot feature follows the live journey of a randomly selected user. Although BigQuery remains necessary for comprehensive reporting and complex data comparisons, StreamView offers immediate operational visibility into user interactions. DebugView is designed for development and testing, displaying events, parameters, and user properties from devices with Analytics Debugging enabled and flagging invalid event parameters so developers can verify their analytics implementation before release.
