Firebase Demo Day 2024 presents eight short demonstrations showing how developers can use Firebase tools to build, deploy, operate, and improve AI-powered applications. Using the Compass sample travel app, the videos illustrate features such as personalized recommendations, smart itineraries, and AI chatbots, supported by Firebase Genkit, Vertex AI in Firebase, Gemini in Firebase, and Firebase App Hosting; as of August 2026, Vertex AI in Firebase has been renamed Firebase AI Logic and Vertex AI is called Agent Platform. The demonstrations also cover managed infrastructure, AI Monitoring, the AI Testing Agent, and Remote Config for performance visibility, automated testing, and personalized user experiences.
