Summary

Firebase has updated its Analytics experience to bring newer Google Analytics 4 capabilities directly into the Firebase console, including a redesigned dashboard, enhanced Realtime view, and interface improvements. The dashboard now presents curated cards in an order covering overview metrics, engagement and retention, monetization, and demographics, with drill-down exploration for details such as app-version performance and publisher ad-unit revenue. A new Comparisons tool replaces Filters and enables users to evaluate up to five audiences or dimension-based groups simultaneously across dashboard cards, including in Realtime analytics, while event and conversion comparisons remain available in their detailed reports. The Realtime view now aligns with Google Analytics 4 and adds filterable acquisition and user cards, helping developers monitor incoming events after releases. Most Analytics settings now link to the Google Analytics console for management, although Firebase retains an editable Analytics Linking card.
