Firebase Kotlin Extensions are out of Beta!
Blog post from Firebase
Firebase Kotlin extension (KTX) libraries have moved out of beta and are now recommended for Kotlin developers building Android apps with Firebase. These libraries provide more concise, idiomatic Kotlin APIs while retaining compatibility with the underlying Java SDKs, using dependencies identified by the `-ktx` suffix. Firebase documentation and code samples will increasingly use KTX syntax, supported by complete reference documentation. A Remote Config example illustrates how KTX replaces explicit instance retrieval and verbose builder patterns with a global Firebase accessor and Kotlin-style configuration DSL. Firebase plans to expand KTX coverage across additional products and introduce more Kotlin-focused features, while acknowledging community contributors and inviting feedback and contributions through GitHub.
