Firebase A/B Testing is now available for the web
Blog post from Firebase
Firebase A/B Testing is now available for web applications, combining Firebase Remote Config with Google Analytics to let teams run, measure, and scale experiments without extensive engineering infrastructure. The tool uses frequentist statistical analysis to identify statistically significant winning variants and tracks metrics such as retention, revenue, engagement, conversions, and subscriptions. Suggested web use cases include comparing content and design variations, improving onboarding, sign-up, checkout, and navigation flows, and testing feature introductions to increase adoption. Examples demonstrate using Remote Config parameters to split users between technical and storytelling blog content or between standard and redesigned React onboarding experiences, then reviewing results in the Firebase console or conducting deeper experiment-specific analysis through BigQuery.
