This feature adds a layer of intelligence by providing metadata such as precision radius and confidence level, which helps to detect patterns like device farms and mobile multi-accounting, improve account sharing identification, and strengthen authentication flows. Proximity Detection complements existing tools like Visitor Identification and Smart Signals by offering contextual intelligence that identifies when devices are in the same area or when a device has changed identity without changing location. This innovation is especially beneficial as traditional identifiers like cookies become less reliable, offering a more precise and difficult-to-fake method for detecting fraud and improving user experiences.
