BotD, a new product highlighted in a recent webinar by Fingerprint's Co-Founder/CTO Valentin Vasilyev and Head of Product Jack Spirou, addresses the challenges posed by sophisticated bots, which account for a significant portion of internet traffic by mimicking human behavior to evade detection. These bots automate popular browsers, frequently change IP addresses, and mimic human interactions, making traditional web application firewalls (WAFs) inadequate for detection. BotD is designed to integrate with existing WAFs, enhancing their capabilities by updating rule sets to better identify these advanced bots, thereby adding an extra layer of security to existing detection methods.
