Introducing Finch Benefits: Programmatic Access to Plans, Enrollments, and Dependents

Finch has launched Finch Benefits in Early Access, expanding its integrations with more than 250 payroll and HR systems to provide insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and benefits technology platforms with programmatic access to employee benefit plans, enrollments, and dependent information. The product is intended to replace slow, error-prone file-based data exchanges with employer-authorized API connections that can deliver fresher enrollment data, support eligibility verification and coverage underwriting, and streamline client onboarding. Finch Benefits combines benefits enrollment data with its existing payroll capabilities, allowing platforms to read coverage details while also writing payroll deductions and contributions, which have traditionally been managed through separate systems. Initially available for ADP Workforce Now and Workday, with additional providers planned through the 2027 Open Enrollment season, the offering represents a step toward Finch’s broader goal of creating shared infrastructure and a more unified source of employment data across HR, payroll, benefits, insurance, and financial systems.
