Felt has achieved SOC 2 Type 2 certification, demonstrating a commitment to high standards of data security and privacy, following a rigorous nine-month audit that confirmed their integration of security practices into daily operations. Alongside this, Felt has also become fully GDPR compliant, implementing measures such as enhanced data processing agreements and transparent data collection practices to protect privacy rights in the European Economic Area and beyond. To further enhance security, Felt uses Amazon Web Services and Render for their technology stack, employs multi-factor authentication, and allows users to choose from five AWS locations for regional hosting. Additionally, Felt is developing a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) implementation to enable customers to use Felt's GIS software within their own AWS environments, affirming their ongoing commitment to evolving security needs and offering comprehensive administrative controls.
