Felt reaches 1.0, now ready for teams

Felt, a digital mapping tool, has launched its 1.0 version, moving out of beta with new features designed for sophisticated collaboration and professional use. The platform has introduced Teams and Team Libraries, enabling seamless group collaboration with control over access permissions, allowing users to organize and move maps between personal and shared spaces. The update also includes advanced styling controls, numeric visualizations, and a new community for map makers to share insights, alongside Tippecanoe, an open-source project enhancing map usage online. The release features a faster rendering engine, right-click menus, a command-K quick action menu, and a new help center to assist professionals in building and sharing complex maps efficiently. Initially free for a year, these capabilities will become exclusive to paying customers in 2024, as Felt aims to refine its offerings based on user feedback.
