What's New in the Fastly Extension for Raycast

In December 2024, Fastly launched an extension for Raycast to integrate common platform tasks into macOS and Windows workflows, initially focusing on service management. Following positive community feedback, Fastly has now introduced updates that add five new commands aimed at enhancing data store management and security monitoring. These updates allow users to manage key-value, configuration, and secret stores directly from the Raycast launcher, facilitating quick lookups, edits, and runtime configuration changes without needing to access the Control Panel or CLI. Additionally, the extension now includes dedicated commands for access control list management, offering functionalities like IP entry modification, CIDR block support, and bulk imports for rapid incident response. An audit log viewer has also been added, enabling users to filter and browse account activity, narrow results by various criteria, and export data for compliance purposes. Users can update the extension through the Raycast Store or set it up by installing Raycast, adding the Fastly extension, and configuring their API token.
