FalkorDB 4.0 Beta has been released, introducing significant improvements and bug fixes to this graph database, which succeeds the recently discontinued RedisGraph. FalkorDB aims to offer a robust, fast, and scalable graph solution, featuring new capabilities such as vector indexing and support for the Bolt protocol, facilitating easier migration from Neo4J with minimal code changes. The beta version also addresses critical bugs from RedisGraph, enhancing performance and stability by treating zero-length traversals as variable-length, preventing server crashes, and ensuring data integrity. Users are encouraged to test the beta version and provide feedback as FalkorDB prepares for the final release, while CEO Guy Korland, with his extensive background in database engineering, continues to guide the project's development.
