AWS and Factory Announce Strategic Partnership

A new partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) has been announced, making Factory available on the AWS Marketplace, which allows enterprise engineering teams to utilize their existing AWS Enterprise Discount Program (EDP) commitments more efficiently. Factory introduces agent-native execution into the software development lifecycle through Droids, which automate various stages such as planning, implementation, incident response, and code review while maintaining security within AWS. These Droids are accessible across multiple platforms, including CLI, Terminal UI, Web, Slack, and IDE overlays, providing shared memory and actions. The platform offers several benefits, including EDP-eligible procurement to streamline processes, fine-grained controls for security and compliance, and integration with tools like GitHub, Jira, and Slack. The platform has shown significant improvements, such as 31 times faster feature development and over 95% reduction in migration and incident resolution times, allowing organizations already using AWS to adopt these capabilities without complicating their existing systems.
