Xcode 27 replaced Simulator.app. Expo CLI and expo-device-hub already know.

Expo SDK 58 updates Expo CLI to support Xcode 27, which replaced Simulator.app with Device Hub and initially disrupted common commands such as `npx expo start` and `expo run:ios`. The CLI now detects Device Hub, boots and focuses simulators through its deep-link system, and excludes simulators mistakenly listed as physical devices by Xcode’s `devicectl`, while related support is also available for SDK 56 and 57. SDK 58 additionally introduces the free, MIT-licensed expo-device-hub plugin, which provides a browser dashboard for local iOS simulators and Android emulators with live streaming, remote interaction, device power controls, runtime CPU, memory, and network metrics, and configurable appearance and accessibility settings. Built on open-source streaming projects and supporting local and remote streaming technologies, the plugin works with SDK 57 onward, development builds, and Expo Go, though it remains pre-1.0, requires macOS and Xcode for iOS simulator management, does not yet support physical iOS device streaming, and currently relies on its GitHub README for documentation.
