Summary

exe has introduced pools, a new way to logically group virtual machines that share defined CPU and memory resources within a chosen region, enabling customers to organize separate production or staging stacks while receiving more predictable pricing. VMs can be moved into pools or created within them, and customers can create multiple pools as needed; standalone hourly billed VMs are also available as effectively single-VM pools. The change accompanies two new plans: Personal begins at $15 per month for a 2 vCPU, 4 GB pool supporting up to 50 VMs and can scale to 16 vCPUs and 32 GB for $155 monthly, while Work replaces the former per-seat Teams pricing with a $150 monthly minimum that includes 4 vCPUs and 8 GB and allows unlimited pools billed from $0.105 per hour per 2 vCPUs. Disk and bandwidth remain additional charges, new customers can use pools immediately, and existing customers have one year to migrate to the new plans.
