Introducing Exa Podcasts: Search 3.2M Episodes with Full Transcripts
Blog post from Exa
Exa has added a podcast index to its AI search platform, covering 3.2 million episodes from 119,000 shows with full transcripts totaling about 23.7 billion words and 2.2 million hours of audio. Available through all Exa endpoints at no added cost, the feature lets AI agents search spoken content across subjects including technology, business, finance, science, culture, and sports, returning episode metadata, hosts and guests, publish dates, durations, and speaker-labeled transcripts. Exa reports that its benchmarking found the service returned the newest episode among the top five results 98.4% of the time and answered 85.0% of 667 episode-specific questions correctly, outperforming tested alternatives. Intended uses include personal podcast summaries, investment research, sales and marketing preparation, recruiting, and tracking public comments by executives or other speakers, while podcast data partner Particle provides additional analytics capabilities.
