Sharing Sessions is the New Social Coding
Blog post from Entire
Entire is presented as a tool for preserving and sharing the context behind code and documentation changes made with AI coding agents. It records agent prompts, responses, tool activity, and file changes, then links this session history to Git commits through Checkpoints, allowing reviewers to understand the intent, investigation, and decisions that shaped a change. For documentation workflows, users can iteratively ask agents to inspect existing content, draft revisions, refine terminology, add examples, and verify consistency before committing their work. Teammates can access shared sessions through the command line or Entire.io, review only relevant prompts or Checkpoints rather than lengthy histories, and reduce follow-up communication during asynchronous collaboration. The tool also supports secret redaction and relies on normal Git workflows for editing or reverting unwanted changes. Users can enable Entire for supported agents such as Codex, work normally, commit and push their changes, and then share the recorded session or selected Checkpoints with reviewers.
