A new initiative has been launched featuring "Checkpoints," a tool that records agent context as versioned data in Git, marking the first step towards creating a universal semantic reasoning layer for agents. This release includes enhancements to the Entire CLI and web UI, such as improved support for Google Gemini CLI with functions like explain, rewind, and resume now compatible with Gemini sessions. Additionally, layered secret detection using gitleaks has been introduced to bolster protection against accidental credential leaks by integrating entropy-based redaction, and Git hooks can now integrate seamlessly with existing hooks. The Checkpoint view on entire.io has been optimized for easier navigation by consolidating session logs and code diffs.
