Same analysis, your account: BYOK for Endor Labs AI SAST
Blog post from Endor Labs
Endor Labs has introduced private-beta bring-your-own-key support for AI SAST and AI Chat, allowing customers to route AI requests through their own OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, or Vertex AI accounts to meet data residency, privacy, auditing, and compliance needs. The feature preserves existing AI SAST analysis while ensuring all requests use customer-managed credentials, selected providers and regions, and tenant-isolated encrypted key handling, with no fallback to Endor Labs accounts. Endor Labs argues that its approach improves on general-purpose frontier models and traditional rule-based scanners by building a full code-context graph, tracing data flows across applications, and supplying structured context to specialized detection, triage, and remediation agents. Its benchmark across eight projects reports that AI SAST identified 192 verified vulnerabilities, including 2.6 times more than the strongest tested frontier model and four times more high-severity findings than the strongest pattern-based scanner, while using substantially fewer tokens and less time than repository-based agents. The company also highlights its discovery of CVE-2026-55407 in a Rust library, along with recent additions such as custom organizational context and buildless C scanning.
