Ukraine’s first AI admissions officer is available 24/7

The Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (VIKNU) implemented an AI-powered admissions agent from ElevenLabs to efficiently manage a high volume of inquiries from prospective cadets, addressing questions related to entry requirements, degree programs, and daily life at the institute. This AI deployment, completed within two days, now handles 80% of routine admissions inquiries, allowing staff to focus on more complex cases. The agent is accessible 24/7, provides information in Ukrainian, and has significantly reduced response times, particularly benefiting high school graduates and their parents who often seek information outside of office hours. As the first educational institution in Ukraine to use such technology, VIKNU aims to set a precedent for AI-supported admissions throughout the country. This initiative is part of a broader collaboration between ElevenLabs and Ukraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation, with a vision to implement AI systems across various governmental functions to support citizens more effectively.
