The Verdella program by WorkHaven, supported by the Office for Women in Queensland, aims to assist survivors of Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) by overcoming language barriers through the use of AI audio technology. In collaboration with ElevenLabs, Verdella has expanded its reach by creating audio guides in nine languages, including Arabic, Hindi, Korean, Punjabi, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, alongside English. These audio files provide personalized guidance through the program's nine modules, ensuring that more survivors can access support in their preferred language. The translations are certified by 2M Language Services, and the program is distributed free of charge through local employers and services, enhancing accessibility for those in need. This initiative exemplifies how technology can make vital resources feel personal and familiar, thereby extending their impact and reach.
