ElevenLabs, in partnership with the National Federation of the Blind, is offering blind readers across the U.S. free access to ElevenReader, an innovative tool that provides lifelike narration and full compatibility with screen readers. This collaboration aims to enhance the accessibility of written content through natural-sounding voices, allowing users to personalize their reading experience and engage more deeply with books, articles, and news. Mark Riccobono, President of the National Federation of the Blind, emphasized the importance of this partnership in meeting the authentic needs of blind individuals by providing them with more options for consuming information. Members of the National Federation of the Blind can apply for a 12-month free license to ElevenReader through the ElevenLabs Impact Program, which also supports other initiatives like helping stroke survivors reclaim their voices.
