ElevenLabs expands to the Netherlands with Amsterdam office
Blog post from ElevenLabs
ElevenLabs has launched operations in the Netherlands with a new Amsterdam office led by Goswijn Thijssen and plans to triple its local workforce across go-to-market, engineering, and other roles. The company says it is responding to demand from Dutch telecom, healthcare, media, delivery, and creative-sector customers, highlighting KPN’s use of its voice agents, where additional Dutch training data improved postcode recognition from 64% to 82% and supported roughly 60,000 verification calls weekly. Other cited customers include Just Eat Takeaway, Redcare Pharmacy, Medendo, Talpa, and Creative Fabrica, which use ElevenLabs technology for multilingual customer service, healthcare documentation, broadcasting, dubbing, and creator tools. ElevenLabs also supports the Dutch-developed Speech Assistant app through its Impact Program, providing free voice technology to people with permanent voice loss, while noting that its platform offers 100 Dutch voices and has generated more than 200 million audio clips for customers in the country.
